Do you support SQL 2005 Database Attach / Detach?

SOLUTION:
Yes, Re-invent can attach your SQL 2008, SQL 2005 or SQL 2005 Express database .mdf file to your hosted SQL 2008 or 2005 database at Re-invent.  This is a FREE Service we provide our customers.

NOTES:
1.  This will overwrite your existing content in your SQL 2008 / 2005 Database.

2.  Re-invent would need to be provided with your SQL 2008/2005 / SQL 2005 Express .mdf Database file.   Generally uploading your file to your FTP Site is sufficient.

3. Once your .MDF file is uploaded to your FTP Site, create a HelpDesk Support Ticket through our Customer Portal by logging in from our Web site at http://www.re-invent.com and let us know that you have uploaded your .MDF file and would like it attached.

4.  Re-invent will then attach your database file and update the support ticket letting you know that is has been completed.

5.  If applicable, you would then update your web.config file with the new connection string.
